Welcome to jugbayfriends.org (the "Site"), operated by the Friends of Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary ("we," "us," "our," or “FOJB”). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site and Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of FOJB or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., viewing organizational information or event details), but you may not republish or distribute it without our written permission.
2. Member Accounts
When you register for an event or make a donation, you may create a member account hosted securely via our CRM partner, Neon One.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
3. Donations and Event Registrations
All donations and event registrations are processed securely.
- Donations: Donations made to FOJB are considered final and are non-refundable unless a clear technical error has occurred.
- Event Cancellations & Refunds: Event registrations are typically non-refundable. Alternative arrangements may occur.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing behavior.
- Attempt to bypass website security, upload viruses, or disrupt the Site’s functionality.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and the County of Anne Arundel, without regard to conflict of law principles.
